RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS AND FINAL PAYMENT
Reservations will be confirmed only upon receipt of a signed and/or emailed application form and deposit of $500 per person. Final payment for all tours is due by December 31, 2010 or within two weeks of receipt of invoice for signups after January 1, 2011. Payments should be made in US dollar check or credit card.
LAND, SINGLE SUPPLEMENTS AND AIR COSTS AS OF MAY 1, 2010 AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE
All prices quoted on the basic package include airfare to/from the USA. The land and air costs are listed as part of this tour program are based on tariffs, rates of exchange, costs and schedules quoted in US dollars as of May 1, 2010 and are subject to change. In any case, you will be advised at time of booking, and no surcharges will be imposed after you are fully paid. If anyone wishes to have a single room, a single room supplement charge will apply.
Deviations involving early departures, later returns, etc. will only be permitted subject to availability of airspace on the specified routings applicable to these programs. Any additional land and/or air costs that may be incurred as a result of such deviation are entirely at the passenger’s expense. Transfers between airport/hotel will not be provided if you do not arrive and/or depart on the scheduled tour dates and flights.
Airport and government imposed user fees as well as airline imposed fuel surcharges are not included in the costs. These will be invoiced and collected along with your final payment. You will be responsible for paying the applicable fees in effect on the date that we receive your final payment. Should these fees change between the time you are invoiced and final payment is received, we will advise you and the additional amount will be required before documents and tickets are issued.
DOCUMENTAION AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
If you do not have a valid passport, please get one immediately. You may not be able to board an international flight unless you have a current passport with at least seven months’ validity remaining.
Visas are not required for any of these tours if you are an American citizen. This is subject to change. If you are not a citizen of the United States, please check with the proper authorities to see if any visas are required. None of the countries to be visited require inoculations of any kind.
CANCELLATION, CHANGES AND REFUNDS
Any notice of cancellation or change must be made in writing, either by postal or e-mail. Cancellation penalties will be assessed based on our contracts with the airlines/operators/hotels for each country. The cancellation charges are per person and are as follows:
November 16, 2010 – December 31, 2010
$500 plus the cost of any non-refundable airline tickets that may have been issued on your behalf and with your approval
January 1, 2011 – April 30, 2011
$1000 plus the cost of any non-refundable airline tickets that may have been issued on your behalf and with your approval
May 1, 2011 – departure day
75% of total fare paid plus the cost of any non-refundable airline tickets that may have been issued on your behalf and with your approval
After departure day
No refund
RESPONSIBILITY
InConTra, Inc. and Tumlare Corporation, on behalf of the California-Nevada-Hawaii District of Kiwanis International, and the California-Nevada-Hawaii District of Kiwanis International on behalf of its members, their families and friends give notice that they are acting only in the capacity of agent in all matters regarding travel, whether by railroad, motorcoach, motorcar, boat or airplane, including all matters of reservations, transportation and tour operation, and assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be caused either by reason of defect in any vehicle, or through the act of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger, or in carrying out arrangements of the tour(s) or otherwise. We can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or other services, or acts of God. Although we do not anticipate change in itineraries or accommodations, etc. as printed herein, the right is reserved to make any changes with or without notice that might become necessary in the best interest of the tour. In such cases any additional expenses must be borne by the passenger. The right is also reserved to withdraw any tour announced in this program and substitute hotels if necessary. InConTra, Inc. and Tumlare Corporation reserve the right to decline, accept or retrain any person as a member of any tour at any time. The airlines concerned are not held responsible for any act, omissions or events during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The passage contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger. Any and/or all transportation companies used on these tours shall have or incur no responsibility or liability to any travel aside from their liability as common carriers.
